Scotch College Family Day
Last Saturday marked the 45th running of this iconic race, which made its debut way back in 1975 on the Scotch Main Oval. Supported by current and previous members of the Old Scotch Athletic Club, as well as individuals associated with the Scotch family, many have attempted to claim victory on this hallowed turf—yet only a select few have succeeded.
This year was especially notable as it marked the resumption of the event after a four-year hiatus, caused first by Covid-19 and then last year’s cancellation due to insufficient entries. Thankfully, this year we had a robust turnout with 13 confirmed runners who battled it out for glory.
