Season’s Greetings, Scotchies!

As the Yuletide spirit fills the air, our athletes delivered an early Christmas gift at Box Hill. Under sunny skies – albeit with a challenging breeze for our early racers – an impressive roster of 14 club members sought to clinch a personal best as a festive sign-off.

The Victorian Milers Meet #2 saw an unprecedented turnout of 700 athletes across 44 heats. The atmosphere buzzed with community spirit, augmented by the scent of BBQ sausages and steamed Dim Sims. It was a night to remember, with nearly half of our athletes achieving new personal records. We extend our heartfelt applause for these stellar performances.

Special thanks to Nathan from Richmond Rehab for supporting our athletes with massages before and after their events. Remember, maintaining peak physical condition includes recovery. As the holidays are upon us, it’s the perfect time to indulge in a therapeutic massage. Make sure to use the member’s discount – details can be found here: Old Scotch Athletic Club and Richmond Rehab Partnership.
