Club-Based Season

The AV Summer Track and Field season comprises 12 rounds, known as the Athletics Victoria Shield League (AVSL). It runs from early October to late February. Athletes score points for Old Scotch Athletic Club based on their age and performance.

  • How to Participate: Register with AV and sign up for events via their website by noon on the Wednesday prior to each Saturday competition.
  • Events: Rounds are hosted at different venues, with each offering a unique set of track and field events.
  • Objective: To accumulate as many points as possible and outscore rival clubs.
